Welcome Center

We look forward to meeting you !

We’re a group of Christians who love the Lord and His church.  Individually and collectively we’re on a spiritual journey in which we’re actively seeking God and His guidance for our lives.

We believe that God’s Word teaches, inspires and convicts us.  We recognize that living a spiritually-minded life isn’t always the easiest, but it is the most rewarding and fulfilling life to live.

Is this church for me?

Absolutely!  No matter who you are, where you live or where you are spiritually, we’re convinced that once you spend time with us you’ll start to feel at home

Multi Lingual! We are a Dutch church with members from every nation and background. This means that we provide translation in various languages whenever needed.

A church for everyone!

We are a unique church in Amsterdam that has a truly diverse membership. European, Middle Eastern, South American, African, Hispanic or Asian, whatever background you are from you will feel right at home.

We’re also diverse in our life situations. Here you’ll find married couples, singles, college students, young people, older people, white-collar, blue-collar and stay-at-home moms.

Bible-Based

It may sound obvious—and many churches claim it—but for us the Bible is the center of everything we believe and do.

The Bible resolves the challenge of opinions and personal preferences, it helps us get to know God in a personal way and teaches us to love like Jezus did.

Small-Big Church

We are a small - growing - group of visionary people who are part of a family of churches world wide who support each other.

“Small” means that we have quality time together and will make every effort to keep it that way.

“Big” means that we are in constant communication with other like minded churches and Christians all over the world.

Diversity

We are one of the only truly diverse churches in the area with multi cultural and economic diversity.

We have members who natively speak in all kinds of languages, from Dutch, French and English to Spanish and Arabic.

What To Expect When You Visit

We know visiting a new church can feel a little intimidating. We’ll do our best to make you feel right at home!

What are your services like?

People describe our church services as worshipful, energetic and loving.  Service typically lasts about 90 minutes and includes plenty of singing/worship, a reflective communion message and a life-guiding sermon

What should I wear?

When you come to our service you will find people wearing everything from jeans to suits.  Please wear what you feel comfortable worshipping God in.  We believe you’ll feel completely welcome — whether you’re casually dressed or in your “Sunday best.”

What’s expected of first-time visitors?

Nothing!  Rest assured we’re not going to ask you to raise your hand, stand up or come up front.   You’re sure to meet warm, friendly people at our services, but you won’t be singled out.  And don’t feel obligated to give to our weekly offering or participate in communion unless you want to.   There are no expectations for you as a guest.

Can I take communion?

Of course! There is no expectation that you participate in communion as a guest.  However, if you want to take communion at our services, you are more than welcome to do so.

What about my kids?

We want to make sure that both children and adults enjoy an encouraging and inspiring time each Sunday.  During worship services, we offer a Kingdom Kids program for infants through 6th graders, allowing parents to attend the worship service while children enjoy an age-appropriate time of learning and fun.

How do I become a member?

We believe that the church is simply a body of believers who have become true disciples of Jesus.  If you want to be a part of this body, the first step is to study the bible to find out what Jesus expects of His followers.

Come to one of our “Startup” meetings to learn more about a personal bible study plan and group bible studies in your neighborhood. Or ask one of our leaders about setting up a personal Bible study plan.
